Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 6:02PM Ania Pauser was recently selected as the "Young designer of the year" by Plaza Magazine for her gorgeous laser cut pendant lamps made out of aero plywood and paper. The jury's comment: "Ania Pausers lamp in laser-cut wood is like something straight out of Arabian Nights - fabulous!"... I couldn't agree more. They look like they came straight out of a Moroccan dream!
Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 6:10PM Amidst one of the busiest days I've had all year, these delicate circle prints by artist Sandra Thomsen bring a sense of calm over me. So simple and beautiful. Hope they help you find your personal calm over the chaos of this crazy Tuesday afternoon as well!
Monday, December 5, 2011 at 7:28PM It's design like this that makes we want to own a home so much more. Designer Pernille Snedker Hansen uses a repurposed marbling technique on wooden planks- giving each one a unique and vibrant pattern that is simply stunning- especially when tiled along the floor. She also sells lovely prints found HERE.
Friday, August 19, 2011 at 1:24PM First of all, happy Friday everyone! It has been quite the busy week for me... to say the least. I've been working on a side project that should be launching into the mighty blogosphere after this coming weekend. I'll give you a hint- balloons! Eek, this is exciting! But I've made it a point to not to neglect my beloved MDP. I've still got loads of tutorials, designs, and other goodies to share with you all. Really though, I couldn't stop sharing if I tried. Too many ideas running through this girls mind to keep it all in. Which brings me to today's post...
I stumbled on this British designers work not too long ago and have been anxiously waiting to share it with you. Caryn Moberly has created such a simple and beautiful product from pieces of burred elm, I'm surprised she hasn't gotten huge yet! Her pieces are called River Mirrors (because at first glance, it looks like a river running between two banks.) They're rustic- yet modern- and I love that they're neither masculine or feminine. You could put this up in just about any home and it would look great. Check out her site HERE to see more pieces of this designer's beautiful work.

Friday, December 10, 2010 at 5:01PM We could use some of these in my place! We can't leave the bikes outside because of the rainy season... This is the perfect stylish solution! via Knife & Saw. I saw something like this at Target too... not quite as smart looking but a little more budget friendly :)
