Wine-Tasting Party Printables + Give-Away
Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 7:02PM I'm still smiling ear-to-ear reminiscing about the fun I had last night! I invited some girlfriends over for an evening of much-needed wine & cheese indulgence. I decided to create some wrappers for the wine bottles so we could have a real "blind" tasting- just like the real pros. I'm actually so thrilled with how they turned out, I'm sharing them with you as a free-printable! We also used some products that really added to fun- a Rate That Wine Pad to keep track of our tasting (it's not so easy when you're a few glasses in ;p) AND the adorable Indelicate Doily Coasters. AND guess what!? Knock Knock is giving away a free wine-tasting party kit to one of you! Simply comment on this post and I'll announce the winner next Wednesday, August 8th! Cheers to that! Product DIY: Pallet Wine Tasting Shelves
Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 7:39PM Serious kudos to Napa-based wine shop Olabisi for coming up with this wonderful shelving idea for a tasting room. The great thing is, you can do it too! Just stack reclaimed pallets for a beautiful rustic looking shelving unit- perfect for a bar because the bottles fit right between the slats! They even made a DIY bar top with pieces of wood and burlap... take a look on the website Remodelista for more images and the step-by-step instructions.
The 20: Classy Boxed Wine?
Monday, May 9, 2011 at 7:04PM These hand selected wines from The 20 have been curated by an expert panel and packaged directly from the barrel into these suprisingly beautiful and eco-friendly boxes. By eliminating bottles and corks, the prices are 25-50% off premium wines. Not too shabby! Not to mention, this would look quite elegant on a buffet table or bar. So, instead of waiting around for the wine bottle to be uncorked and passed around- fearing it may slip from someones hands in the process- the box will handle all the work for you.
We All Need A Little More Cheese
Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 6:47PM I've had my fair share of cheese-themed parties, but none as pretty as this. I think my favorite is Chevre (Goat Cheese) paired with a lovely Gewürztraminer. Well, anything paired with that wine is going to be spectacular... but I like semi-soft spread with my wine and a few crackers. I need to make this happen soon. I'm making a mess salivating all over my keyboard. Images via Sunday Suppers.
Yes, they actually used cheese cloth to cover the tables. Brilliant.
