These vibrant prints by Kris Tate make me wish I was sitting by a pool, wearing neon shades, sipping on a piña colada... that may partly be due to the fact that I woke up feeling like it should be the weekend, NOT a Thursday (yesterday's July 4th mid-week day-off was such a tease!) Guess I'll just have to sit here in my office, staring at these flamingo prints, picturing myself by that pool... just to get me through these next two days! Oi.

The Knuckle Ring Hunt

So, I've recently developed this bad habit of fidgeting. I'm not sure why... But I'll be sitting at my desk spinning my pens around, tearing corners of papers off, stirring my half empty coffee mug with a spoon, or the worst is- playing with my jewelry. The other night I was out with some friends, wearing this fabulous knuckle ring with three floating hearts that sit in between each of my fingers. It was probably my favorite piece of jewelry until, suddenly, just as I was divulging in this bad habit- re-adjusting the metal bands, and gliding my thumb across the bumpy metal surface, I felt a tiny heart plummet off my finger and onto the floor. Ugh!! Not my favorite ring! The worst part is, it was given to me as a gift- and I don't think I'll ever be able to find something quite like it again. So I've been on this mission to find something to replace it. The ultimate plan is to use the replacement as a reminder that fidgeting is a terrible habit. One that can break your heart... literally! So here are a few the lovely knuckle rings I've found so far. Totally worth not fidgeting over :)
