Farmers Market Shopper Basket

This weekend is full of a flea and farmer's markets all over Los Angeles. They're some of my all-time favorite things to do. But I always think to myself once I'm there, "I really need to get something cute to carry all of my stuff in!" So I think I might snag one of THESE little beauties found over at one of my new favorite online shops Pretty Mommy! They're hand-made in Ghana, super durable, and even with a ton of wear- you can easily reshape the basket by quickly submerging in water! Can't wait to finally be prepared for my weekend shopping adventures!

Palm Springs Pool-Side Style

Hello there everyone! I've just returned from a sunny weekend in Palm Springs. I've found that early June is the best time to go. You'll miss the crowds, but still get to soak in the sunshine next to a sparkling mid-century modern hotel pool! Speaking of which, I was totally inspired by Palm Spring's desert glam, so I had to come back and do a retro pool-side style board! via POLYVORE.

Painting Carry Bags by Swarm

I visited the Rose Bowl Flea Market this Sunday and it rekindled my passion for all things vintage... Now I'm obsessing over THESE re-constructed painting canvas bags, pillows and accessories by Swarm.

The Traveling Chef: Cooky Bag

After a lovely President's Day weekend spent in wine country (most of which, I'll admit, was spent over-indulging on said wine and incredible food) I'm ready to get back on track with a healthy eating regimen. Before I know it Coachella will be here, and I know I'll be kicking myself if I'm spending my time out in the desert worrying about love handles! That said, I came across this innovative tote that I can see myself using on the regular. Instead of dining out, I can be my own traveling chef (and we all know that it's much healthier to cook for ourselves!) The Cooky Bag organizes and transports food, then converts into an apron whenever you're ready to start cookin'! Love this!!

Depeapa Does Beards

I don't know what it is I love more about the etsy shop Depeapa, her beautiful illustrations or the fact that she probably adores beards as much as I do...

Infusion Totes : Sustainable Style

Designer Abby Meadow constructs each and every one of these sustainable fiber totes in her studio on the beautiful coast of Oregon. "I use natural, organic, sustainable and recycled fibers and fabrics. In my own life, I make every effort to be kind and gentle to the earth and to the life forms that live here." That gentleness she shows to the earth is apparent in her work. Her designs are simple and delicate- but make a huge impact. Visit her etsy shop- Infusion- to see more of her work!

Fieldguided Totes

I came across a Flickr called Fieldguided about a week ago and completely fell in love with photostream. When I discovered creator, Anabela, had an etsy shop- I knew already that I would be sold on whatever it was she had up for grabs. Alas, I did. And now I want every one of her totes (and maybe one of her adorable kitty cats). I simply love the English- shabby chic look of everything from her blog to her business cards (pictured a few sets below.) So so so pretty.
