Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 6:07PM For those of us who sit around dreaming of the next room we get to decorate... Project Decor is a dream come true! It's the Polyvore-style solution for us home-decor enthusiasts! You pick the furniture and accessories, organize it on a digital canvas, then share it with your friends! So much fun!
Monday, July 30, 2012 at 5:54PM "Girly and Glam" are two adjectives I would not typically use to describe my personal style. However, THIS dressing room has me re-considering my position. The father-daughter team of Design Manifest did such a beautiful job of balancing the elegance of pastels and golds with fresh pops of neon color. My favorite pieces are the unique vintage finds- like the marble top coffee table snagged off of ebay! Looks like I can get on board with this girly-glam stuff after all...

Friday, September 16, 2011 at 4:26PM More days than not, I wear my hair pulled back. So when I find cute new ways to give my up-do a little more style, I get pretty excited. I discovered this easy and super cute DIY project on the blog Lemon Jitters. By taking a basic hair comb (found at most drug stores) and wrapping the base with yarn, string, twine or embroidery floss in a V-shape pattern, you can make this in a matter of minutes! I was thinking of how cute this could be with glittery gold string! I can see my stocking stuffer list starting to accumulate already! So many ways you can use this nifty little project. Love it.
Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 7:14PM I really am the queen of bad hair days. Realllly bad ones. I have very fine & wavy hair which is a terrible combination when you wake up and want to do something quick and easy- to cover up what the untamable beast, that is the pillow, has done to you. I will jump on any new idea that will help me cover it up: hats, scarves, helmets, you name it... So when I saw this lovely blog of beautiful fashionista Keiko Lynn, I knew I had to share some of her hair-wrapping tricks that I hope will get you as excited as it did for me. Her outfits are also quite adorable if you're looking for a little bit of style-inspiration. But today I want to focus on these beautiful scarves she uses to wrap around her pulled up hair. SO cute and stylish- and did I mention- perfect for a bad hair day!? LOVE.

Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 4:56PM Comfortable. Check. Flattering. Check. Super cute? Check! What's not to love about long flowy skirts? I've always really liked them- even in middle school you could find me wearing my mom's old hippie skirts. They're completely on-trend this season so I can't wait to start wearing them again. And if I want to try something different- I'll just drive over to the thrift store where theres a never ending supply of other Mom's old hippie skirts- with all the wild colors and patterns you're heart could ever desire. Who knows, you could fall in love with this look too. There's nothing to regret about trying something when it's only about $5 a pop! Cha ching!
