Trout on a Rope

This featured Etsy seller made me giggle out loud a little. The shop is called Dope on a Rope with the clever slogan "don't smoke it... soak it!" because they use hemp oils in their line of soaps. This particular soap caught my eye- Trout on a Rope... and no- it won't make you smell like fish- rather a sweet combination of coconut, palm, and safflower oils.

Lonny Mag Spring Issue

Looking at these photos from Lonny Mag reminds me of how much I need to start my spring cleaning... ugh. I always wonder if people really live in these homes. Regardless, looking at them is great for inspiration. I think you'll agree, this monthly magazine deserves a cozy spot in the bookmarks folder!

Little Byrd Vintage : Product Styling

Woke up this morning feeling a little better. Not perfect- but I can now speak without being mistaken for my Grandpa. So, I'm in good enough spirits to share something I'm really fond of- vintage stuff! Yay! Little Byrd Vintage is a lovely Etsy shop that has some of the best photo styling I've seen- showcasing beautiful little claimed pieces of vintage goodness. They take simple found objects and showcase their beauty with soft lighting and delicate arrangements. I'm an especially big fan of the pillow covers made of wool & fleece blankets- so good.

HP Weekend

If this doesn't give you reason to go out looking around Thrifts Stores, I don't what will:

"What does your dad do at the Ministry of Magic, anyway?"
"He works in the most boring department. The Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office."
"The what?"
"It's all to do with bewitching things that are Muggle-made, you know, in case they end up back in a Muggle shop or house. Like, last year, some old witch died and her tea set was sold to an antiques shop. This Muggle woman bought it, took it home, and tried to serve her friends tea in it. It was a nightmare, Dad was working overtime for weeks."

A Colorful Winter with Donna Wilson

Many of you may recognize her work- but I thought I would share this London-based designer's new catalogue with you! The colors of Donna Wilson's winter collection are so bright and cheerful! They make me want to go outside and run around in the rain... I would say snow--- but we're lucky to even get drizzle out here in Los Angeles! Yay for colorful seasons!

Breakfast in bed anyone?? Ohhh, it is love!

Tour : Pigeon Toe Ceramics

Pigeon Toe Ceramics prides itself on making lovingly hand-crafted relics that are something to cherish and keep in your family for generations. Living in a world of mass-produced products, it's hard to distinguish whats is true quality & craftsmanship... but this shop prides itself on having the very best vendors and products in their store. It's refreshing seeing shops out there striving to create beautiful pieces that have actual sentimental value. Their carefully hand-picked items are clearly chosen with the goal to showcase pieces that will become heirlooms to be passed on and enjoyed for generations...
