Charlotte Lancelot Stitched Funiture

I recently came across Charlotte Lancelot's gorgeous stitched furnishings on Bliss. I was intrigued, so I decided to check out her website. Sure enough, I discovered an array of unique forms of product design. Some of my personal faves are the Felt Memo Board, Orchid Tableware and Forget-Me-Knot Hooks. Thought I would share those with you today :)

Sit and Read Rug Chairs

I am sooo looking forward to this long, sunny Memorial Day weekend! The plan is to spend as much of that time outside in the beautiful weather, as possible. If only I had one of these Sit and Read Rug Chairs on my patio... I can picture it now- lounging in the shade while reading a book and sipping a frosty glass of  lemonade. Sounds heavenly, doesn't it? Designed by Brooklyn based company Still + Co., their overdyed rugs are cut, hemmed, and hand stitched into welded wrought iron frames to create these beautiful custom pieces. Happy Memorial (3-entire-long-days) weekend!!

Norrgavel Cozy Spaces

On rainy days like these, I find myself getting lost in images of cozy spaces, warm colors and... everything in Norrgavel. Seriously, I would give up life in the city if it meant living in a beautiful rustic cabin, on a mountain, and getting to decorate it like this *swoon*!

DIY: Ikea Rug Pillow

My friend Mandy over at the awesome blog Lime and Clementine wrote a lovely homage to Miss Martha Stewart- who is most definitely the queen of craft. After reading the post- I wandered over to the Martha Stewart site and spotted THIS AMAZING tutorial that I truly plan on attempting myself (sometimes I say that and get too lazy- but this time I'm for real, yo.) It's how to create adorable French-style striped pillows using cheap ikea rugs (about $4 each!) This is why Martha Stewart will always have a place in my heart. LOVE.
