A gentleman saw a painting of my little goldfish Linda on display in a college art show, found out how to get in touch with me, and asked if I could do something similar of his beloved pet terrier. I was thrilled that someone actually liked it enough to PAY me for it! Ever since, I've had this bizarre fondness of cheesy pet portraits. People really love them! And you can too, believe it or not. Artist Kate Pugsley has captured that sweet and silly nature of the pet portrait, but has found a way to make it... kind of cool!

One day I will have a family portrait taken on a moon! Don't you just love these beautiful vintage photographs?
