Summer Nail Guide

I love getting funky with my polish. I see my nails as little canvases that I can practically do anything with! If you're looking for a little inspiration, Pshiiit has the best collection of nail-art demos I've seen. Here are some of my favorites.

They're perfect for bringing a splash of color to your little hand canvases this Summer :)

Inspired Colors

I'm totally loving this outfit from All Things Kate.

I was so inpired by this lovely palette that I decided to go on Polyvore and create my own collection!

Coral Kinda Mood

Although coral-anything looks dreadful on me... I really really like the idea of it. I especially love coral paired with grays and blacks- making it look less-bridesmaid-y- and a bit more modern.

Paper Pages : Nail Design

I'm usually a short bare fingernails kind of girl (you have to be when you're dealing with ink and printing all day) but this is something I MUST try out sometime... It's a clever little imprint nail design you can do with newspapers you have around the house. Very cute! VIA

You will need:

• Scissors

• Pale Nail Polish

 •  Clear Varnish (& Top Coat)

• Newspaper

• Alcohol (Vodka or other)

Directions:

1. Paint nails with light polish.

2. Apply varnish.

3. Put alcohol in a small glass.

4. Cut small pieces of paper newspaper (big enough to cover nail.)

5. When nails are dry, soak them in alcohol.

6. Cover your nails with the small pieces of paper newspaper.

7. After a few seconds, remove pieces of newspaper slowly.

8. Let dry and apply a layer of top coat.
