Prints and Palletes by Scion

I don't know how/why it took so long for me to discover Scion wallpapers and fabrics... but I did. And it makes me happy. I'm digging their patterns- with everything from rustic and natural, to hip and illustrative. The bright color palettes are so refreshing! Especially that blue/orange combo. And if patterned wallpaper is a bit too overwhelming for your taste, one of their pillows could just as easily give you that pop of design you're looking for!

Patterned Paint Rollers

On my never ending journey to find the best DIY projects, I came across The Painted House! I'm absolutely in love with their patterned paint rollers,  which they have come up with so many clever ways to use...

"So far we have made metres of fabric, curtains, bunting, cushions, stationary, lampshades and wrapping paper, covered books and furniture, printed on walls, and someone is in the process of rollering the inside of their bell tent!"

Digital Wall Paper by Catalina Estrada

Thinking of adding a splash of color to your home- scratch that- a ginormous wave of color? Here's a bright idea- try out these stunning digital mural/ wall papers by designer Catalina Estrada. I also have to mention how much I love the styling of these photos. The contrast of modern vector images with vintage pieces of furniture is an awesome look and definitely tones down the wild graphics...

Fear No Pattern!

Although I may not be able to pronounce the name, Svenskt Tenn is one of my favorite new design shops. I absolutely LOVE all of the bold beautiful textiles they have designed for their products! The colors, illustrations, textures everything... it's a place I'll certainly keep my on, especially when I need a little color inspiration for the future!

Pumpkins on the Mind

I'm horrible at carving pumpkins. It takes strength, endurance, and patience- none of those qualities will ever be used to describe me. I loooove pumpkins though. They taste and look wonderful- especially in the Fall. After visiting Miss Martha Stewarts Halloween site- it inspired me to pick up my carving tools this year- because these pumpkins are fantastic! Check out her site to see more...
