Design Love Fest Mixology Party

I've had the biggest blog crush on Design Love Fest for a while now... and today I think it's turned into a case of borderline obsession. Who wouldn't want to be best friends with this beautiful group of people? Not to mention, these guys know how to throw a party! Their mixology soirée looks absolutely epic... Un-Valentine Party

Next Thursday couldn't come soon enough! My friends and I have decided to celebrate our un-Valentine's Day the best way possible- by drinking wine, eating whatever the heck we want, decorating headless gingerbread men and watching un-romantic comedies. I almost forgot how much I love this holiday...

WEAR { black heart stud earrings | black and gold heart flats }

DECOR { "love stinks" banner | love rat | black heart garland }

EAT { Black Heart Cupcakes | headless gingerbread men }

GIVE { cards by JulieAnnArt }

Printed-Vintage 4th of July

I'm so excited about this upcoming 4th of July (can you believe it's already here!?) This year I'm celebrating with a group of friends pot-luck style and have been handed the task of bringing the essential party goods (napkins, plates, cups, etc...) When I saw THIS  fantastic collection of 4th of July designs over at A Field Journal blog, I was inspired to get crafty with my task-at-hand. By introducing simple printed embellishments, it's easy to give any event a custom feel. Blogger Olivia of A Field Journal  gives her 4th of July BBQ a wonderful vintage Americana flare with beautiful designs she created in Illustrator. Take a look!

Starry Night : Save the Dates

I just finished up with a couple Save the Date design options for a friend's engagement party. By perusing her lovely Pinterest board, I found inspiration in the images of twinkle lights, glowing candles, blazing sparklers, and rich golden tones that all reflected the Midsummer Night's wedding theme. I'm so pleased with the way these invites turned out! Question is- which one will she choose!?

Cheesecake Filled Chocolate Easter Eggs

I can see it now- the hard time my friends are going to give me about today's post. I am notoriously anti-cheesecake. Never have liked it, never will. However, my hope is that you all disagree with my taste (just this one time) and make these this Easter Sunday... because they are just too stinkin' adorable! Cheesecake Filled Chocolate Easter Eggs via Raspberri Cupcakes.
