 THIS DIY Heart of String from the site Green Wedding Shoes is one of those pieces that, as soon as I saw it, my jaw dropped. It's such a simple idea, yet it makes an incredible statement! The piece pictured here was intended for a wedding reception, but I would hang it up on a wall in a heart beat. I really love the color too! And it's only $35 to make? Sold!!

Pancake Doodles

 There's nothing I would rather be doing more than sleeping right now. Aside from going to bed later than usual, I was woken up at the crack of dawn by a bevy of sirens, only to discover that the apartment complex across the street caught fire. It caused my entire neighborhood to lose any hope of rest we may gotten thereafter... What a morning! I am not a morning person. I am, however, a fan of breakfast. Like pancakes... Aha- perfect transition for my post today (like how I did that? teehee) I'm pretty sure I'll be squeezing pancakes out of a ketchup bottle in the near future. Here are some lovely pancake hearts that I fell in love with found here. I've seen other bloggers take a shot at pancake art too, like Sherbert Blossom (pictured). Who doesn't love playing with their food? And how sweet would this be for a birthday breakfast or even Mother's Day? Love this idea! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take a lunchtime NAP.

Los Angeles based accessory company Ban.do has risen in popularity ever since celebs and fashionistas alike have been sporting their lovely bows, clips, corasges and accessories all over town. I'm always thrilled to see crafty entrepenuers start to make a name for themselves (guess I hope to be that lucky one day!) I thought it was appropriate for valentines as well- just look at those glittery heart clips. LOVE.
