ZOM-B-GONE

With Halloween right around the corner, it's probably best to get your get your Zom-B-Gone spray from Birdy Botanicals before it's too late!!

"Get ready for the impending Zombie Apocalypse with this new product from Birdy's Supernatural Problems Division. The whole story about how this product came to be is here in the new Birdy Blog. Suffice to say this little purse-sized miracle will make it safe to move about the planet while your friends and family are out fighting each other for that last tin of untainted Spam. Zom-B-Gone will send those unwanted decomposing guests packing with essences of Blood Orange, Clove and Cedar while leaving your space smelling like an autumn morning before everything went to hell in a handbasket. We're not sure why Zombies hate it but we know you'll love it!"

MDP Rustic Halloween

Just a few Halloween/ Autumn decorating snapshots I wanted to share with you all. My camera is so terrible- but you get the idea :) I'm using earthy rustic colors this holiday season! I love them because they're great for transitioning into Thanksgiving as well.

Old World Primitive Halloween

Crafty - folksy - vintage - whatever you want to call it - this is the way I like to do Halloween! Mixed media artist Stephanie Baker of Old World Primitives has a charming collection inspired by her childhood where she grew up in an 18th Century farmhouse. Her work is greatly influenced by the primitive arts and crafts style from the period. I'm especially fond of this aesthetic when paired with the holidays. Something about it brings out the little-girl spirit in me. I'm so ready to go trick-or-treating now!

Not Martha is one of my favorite blogs to go to during the holidays... there are always wonderful & creative ideas to check out- especially the recipes. This week I saw this adorable Tentacle Pot Pie Recipe. She snagged the recipe from Simply Recipes and then experimented with the puff pastry topping... I'm all about that!

Pumpkins on the Mind

I'm horrible at carving pumpkins. It takes strength, endurance, and patience- none of those qualities will ever be used to describe me. I loooove pumpkins though. They taste and look wonderful- especially in the Fall. After visiting Miss Martha Stewarts Halloween site- it inspired me to pick up my carving tools this year- because these pumpkins are fantastic! Check out her site to see more...
