2013 Festival Fashion Faves

It's hard to believe, but Coachella is fast approaching! I'm just now realizing I haven't even begun to think about what I'm going to wear this year. So I created a festival fashion board to get my ideas rolling and perhaps inspire you for whatever fun outdoor events you may be going to!

Tie it up that dirty desert hair: knot headbands

Fashion made simple: rompers

The dance party never stops: wild printed tights

I dare you to try: hot pink lips

Make your own music: stacked bracelets

Desert rock goddess: studded ankle boots

Go bigger, brighter & rounder: statement glasses

Grandpa approved: bomber jackets

Orla Kiely: 60's Style Typing Pool

As inspired as I am by this 60's office fashion shoot by designer Orla Kiely, I'm totally ready to ditch my pencil skirt for tonight's leather jacket... yay for Friday!

Retro Italian Collection by Lazzari

It may be the charming retro quality of these photos, the effortless styling inspired by the 60's, the darling Italian model or perhaps it's the FABULOUS clothing... but everything about these photos from Lazzari's 2012 Spring/Summer collection make me want to raid this girl's closet! I love it all (especially that yellow pea coat!)

Ginny & Jude Timeless Fashion

I'm absolutely enamored with the Ginny & Jude Collection by Sydney designer Rabia Lockwood. I can honestly picture myself wearing evey single one of these pieces. Rabia says, "[Her] aim is to create statement pieces for the perennially overdressed... [The] distinctly unique fashion accessories are constructed from a carefully selected combination of new and vintage materials. Each handcrafted piece is imbued with a rich world history; millinery trim from early 1900s Europe, vintage glass and Bakelite buttons, French mohair, knitted ties from 1960s England and monocles originally used in 1800s America – to name a few. The results are delightfully wearable pieces of art."

Visit her online etsy shop HERE... before I buy it all up myself ;)
