I think they're the perfect look for Spring- especially if you find the right dress in a pastel color (like I've shown below.) Pair it with lace socks, oxfords and a straw hat - and you're in business!

Sew Good Gifts

It's hard to believe, but it's about that time of the year when we start thinking of the holiday gifting! So like every year before, I'm looking for DIY's to keep from breaking the bank. Perfect timing, because I just discovered Megan Nielsen's website of beautiful sewing patterns for sale and a blog that features wonderful freebies & tips! Now... the next step for me...to get a sewing machine!!! I guess that will just have to be a pre-Christmas gift to myself ;P

I'm absolutely enamored with the Ginny & Jude Collection by Sydney designer Rabia Lockwood. I can honestly picture myself wearing evey single one of these pieces. BHLDN Inspired Events

I couldn't have planned a more wonderful party last night. I spent a warm Summer's evening enjoying sangria's, tapas, laughs and memories at a friends bridal shower under the stars. It was just beautiful. The bride to-be was glowing from head to toe and her joy was absolutely contagious. So of course my mind is still lingering on that this morning- actually inspiring today's post.
