Morgan and Seth love black, red, skulls and anything a little rock 'n' roll. They also happen to be my close friends who are getting married in May! Keeping this in mind, I knew designing their wedding invitations was going to be a blast. We wanted the invites to be a little dark, romantic, edgy and slightly playful... just like them.
Here's what we came up with... Along with a formal invitation, guests got a "ticket" to the show, a "flyer" for the reception, and a timeline of events. I'm so happy with how it turned out! A big congrats to them!
It's always just a little bit harder to get up on Monday mornings, isn't it?
I love a good house tour... like this one from the beautiful blog The Marion House Book. It has all the elements that get me excited about a home- a little vintage, great pops of color and a ton of personality. Click on any of the images below to read interviews of home owners Sarah Keenleyside and Jesse Boyer. So many inspiring ideas!!
Feeling inspired by the work of Sinead Leonard today. I just love the use of strong pops of color, texture and layering in her digital collages. She calls these images "[An] army of female warriors... These women have the integrity and power to create and control the world married with the grace and compassion not to destroy it in the process." Love that. via Trendland
I'm always thrilled to come across amazing collections of patterns! I work in the print and invitation business, so a discovery like this opens up a door to new creative designs. I recently found these gorgeous hand-drawn Indian patterns on the blog BibliOdyssey. They're just so simple and lovely, aren't they? Visit the Flikr to view the entire set!
