Love My New Tattly!

The beloved Tattly brand has paired up with another one of my favorite shops - Photojojo - for a new line of temporary tats called the The Tattly Camera Tattoo Set. Just got mine in the mail this weekend and am so excited to show them off! I've had this one on for 3 days and it's surprisingly still as crisp as the day I put it on! The designs are so cute- it's hard not to consider what it would be like to have it there permanently. The beauty of it is that I can keep swapping it out every few days with a new design!

The Planet & Polli

Aside from the fact that Australian shop Polli has a lovely selection of indie-crafted objects and accessories, they truely pride themselves in their socially-conscious efforts. You gotta love a company that uses eco-conscious materials, manufactures their products locally, AND donates $1 from each piece of jewelery to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to help with the protection of animals.

DIY: Bokeh Heart Photos

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a very good photographer. Scratch that, I'm terrible. It takes incredible patience and focus- both qualities I would likely leave off of my resume. That's why the automatic setting on my camera is my pretty much my best friend. So when I saw this tutorial, a little knot formed in the pit of my stomach. I was torn. Should I try to teach myself how take real pictures again? Believe it or not, back in college I actually knew how to set the aperture and shutter speed, I've just inconveniently forgotten ever since the class ended. But this aweeesome Bokeh Heart Lens DIY  has made me want to pick up my camera and start shooting again... because... look how cool this is! I've seen shots like this before- not knowing how they were done (I was just hoping it wasn't photoshop!)  But now that I know I can do it myself... the ideas are running wild. I can't resist a good DIY- and needless to say, this one is pretty darn tempting! FOUND HERE.
