The 20: Classy Boxed Wine?

These hand selected wines from The 20 have been curated by an expert panel and packaged directly from the barrel into these suprisingly beautiful and eco-friendly boxes. By eliminating bottles and corks, the prices are 25-50% off premium wines. Not too shabby! Not to mention, this would look quite elegant on a buffet table or bar. So, instead of waiting around for the wine bottle to be uncorked and passed around- fearing it may slip from someones hands in the process- the box will handle all the work for you. 

Warm Weather Shots

I wish it was warmer out... it would be a good enough excuse to serve up cocktails out of a watermelon.

You need a keg shank- and a delicious recipe...

Like So:

Puree 4 cups watermelon chunks; strain.Stir in 4 ounces Alize Red Passion or other fruit-flavored liqueur, 8 ounces gin and 2 cups sour mix; chill. Add sparkling rose before serving. Garnish with lime. Makes 10 to 12 drink.

P.S. this can be buzz-free if you substitute the liquer with sprite :)

Flask Guide 2011

I'm soooo ready for the New Year, aren't you? I've decided I will actually do it right this year, and make plans to DO something (I usually hang out at home- avoiding crazy drunk drivers.) But this year I've got an awesome group of friends together, we've picked out the perfect spot in town, and we're gonna have a blast! All thats left to do is plan the outfit and pick out the perfect accessories... which has me thinking about FLASKS! Lol. Okay, so maybe they don't have a reputaion for being classiest accoutrement a girl can have. But sometimes they come in handy (especially if your bar is as expensive as the ones in Los Angeles!)
