After a lovely President's Day weekend spent in wine country (most of which, I'll admit, was spent over-indulging on said wine and incredible food) I'm ready to get back on track with a healthy eating regimen. Before I know it Coachella will be here, and I know I'll be kicking myself if I'm spending my time out in the desert worrying about love handles! That said, I came across this innovative tote that I can see myself using on the regular. Instead of dining out, I can be my own traveling chef (and we all know that it's much healthier to cook for ourselves!) The Cooky Bag organizes and transports food, then converts into an apron whenever you're ready to start cookin'! Love this!!

Like so many others out there in the blogging world, I just love to browse around Apartment Therapy for design inspiration. You get to peak into the lives of people who don't necessarily care for streamline decor, and have unique solutions for everyday interior design. Today I'm sharing a home I found on A.T. that has the kind aesthetic I've been known to fall hard for- the perfect blend of vintage and modern. In the article, owners Sam and Anne explain that modern decor can translate to cold and uninviting. But, this house is anything but that! With help from their adorable pooch Vizsla, they accomplish designing a comfortable yet modern space. By using newer big-ticket pieces like furniture and appliances, and mixing in fresh vintage accessories for added character, it's that perfect balance of old, new, whimsical and contemporary. But I have to admit, I think they're best accessory by far is Vizsla :)
