Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 1:26PM Gotta love this photo styling from Prunella! First time I've ever used the word "adorable" to describe soap. Seriously, they had me at miniature puppies. Be sure to check out the special Valentine collection, which can be customized for those special people in your life!
Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 1:08PM Like so many others out there in the blogging world, I just love to browse around Apartment Therapy for design inspiration. You get to peak into the lives of people who don't necessarily care for streamline decor, and have unique solutions for everyday interior design. Today I'm sharing a home I found on A.T. that has the kind aesthetic I've been known to fall hard for- the perfect blend of vintage and modern. In the article, owners Sam and Anne explain that modern decor can translate to cold and uninviting. But, this house is anything but that! With help from their adorable pooch Vizsla, they accomplish designing a comfortable yet modern space. By using newer big-ticket pieces like furniture and appliances, and mixing in fresh vintage accessories for added character, it's that perfect balance of old, new, whimsical and contemporary. But I have to admit, I think they're best accessory by far is Vizsla :)
Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 4:02PM Lace, jean, color blocking and boho-vintage prints: these are some of the big trends I'm seeing in fashion this Spring- ALL of which you can find in Lauren Maffots's 2012 Collection. I think my favorite piece is the painted skirt right below. Just love those bold colors with the delicate lace top...

Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 1:59PM Illustrated calendars, "cat ladies" and coffee talk... It's as though designers João Bento Soares and Maria Helena Silva snooped around my mind for inspiration! Their design studio, Two Dot Two, has a fresh and quirky design aethetic with a diverse range of works- everything from furniture to film projects. You can browse around their Big Cartel to see their latest prints- including the beautiful 2012 calendar below that I'm pretty crazy about...

Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 4:52PM As much as I adore my sunny Southern California life, I tend to get weather-envy when I see amazing boots like the ones found over at Native Shoes. Refinery29 is offering a serious deal today- where you can get them for $55! I've totally got my eye on those yellow Jimmy snow boots... but I think I'll pass on the snow, thanks. ;)
