Diana Scherer Soil Studies

At first glance, it looks as though these plants are contained in lovely dark brown vases, however, upon closer examination you'll see that these plants are in fact, floating in their own soil. The exposed roots create such a beautiful effect! Although these plants would never hold up in a home, a vase with that pattern printed on it would be absolutely brilliant, don't you think?! VIA

I am absolutely drawn to these! I think its because ... when I was a kid, whenever I drew pictures of flowers, I would make sure they always had roots drawn too. Does this say something about me? I don't know. But I think the images in this post are amazingly beautiful!
