Kitchen: Found Objects and Fun Displays

I love going to thrift stores and finding beautiful pieces for my home. There is, of course, a time to say, "no more!" because too many nice little found objects start to look like clutter. Thats why presentation is such an important part of design. Sometimes it's all about the way you display pieces that really make them come to life. Today I'm going to show you ways to bring this into practice in the kitchen. I've taken some pictures of the little nook above my sink and the fun pieces I've put in it.

There is a great blog called Lanalou Style that presents fantastic display solutions for your treasures. She does a lot of work with coffee shops and bakeries. I hope this will inspire you to take a second look at that empty wall in your kitchen and try something new!
